The magical wedding of Marie-Sygne Le Baud & Alexis Grosskopf

We wanted to share our special day with our loved ones that could not attend. Also, we want to keep the memories for a lifetime.

We like your eye, the subtlety and sensibility of the angles you chose and put forth.

We love nature, we love human connection and beauty. We like to have fun, to explore and create adventures to discover life with friends and loved ones (diving (free or scuba), hiking, rock climbing). We also love playing games, good food and wine. And we are also always keen to share a good laugh.

We were travelling to Uganda and Rwanda in late July 2019. We were road tripping and arrived the day before in a wonderful hotel facing Bwindi impenetrable forest in Uganda. On the day, we went on to meet the gorillas in the forest. And what an encounter! The proposal happenned that same evening, in our magical cottage in the forest, next to a fire and with our favorite wine and an incredible ring Alexis had had designed for the last 6 months.

Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden : For the beauty, the thoughts and the heart invested into making and sharing this magical place by who else than an artist: Dylan Lewis. Love the hues of colours, the variety of textures, the play with the elements, the feeling of being in an haven surronded by the power of mountains. Wildepaardejacht: For the views, the mountains, the way they turn red at sunset. The vine slopes and the orchards bringing green within this mineral surrounding. Loved the Cape Dutch architecture of this intimate farm and all the history it bears having witnessed the encounters between Nelson Mandela and Frederik de Klerk.

Our Ceremony, sharing our love and commit to one another with our closest friends and family in such a beautiful and powerful setting. The joy, the love, the words: seeing the smiles, feeling the love and hearing the words of kindness and feeling seen during the speeches, but also seeing all our loved ones connect, laugh and dance together. Being able to share our beloved country of adoption, where we grew as a couple, with our family and friends.

Thank you for your love. May we share a lifetime of love, joy and kindness with each of you and with one another. To us all! To life!
