Louisvale Wedding Video / Devon Valley
An energetic and beautiful African wedding in Devon Valley, Stellenbosch, at the exquisite venue, Louisvale. Phila and Boitumelo flew down from their new home in the Netherlands, to celebrate their big day with their closest friends and relatives.
Their wedding was uniquely vibrant and colourful, with a ceremony overlooking the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains, as they read their vows to each other.
Their chemistry and love for one another came through in every frame of the film, and with the words and blessings from their fathers, it’s clear that their families were destined to unite.
Unlike the usual weddings in Cape Town and the surrounding regions like Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, Louisvale in Devon Valley is characterised more by it’s lush greenery and flowers, than it is by vineyards.
The venue is also perfectly located near the Sugarbird Manor only six minutes away, a beautiful spot where the couple accommodated their friends, and which they used as the getting ready location.
A key aspect in their wedding film is the speeches, and both their fathers gave heartwarming words to their children, and the couple. One part left out of their short film (although included in the long film they receive privately) is that Tumi’s father acted as midwife when her mother couldn’t get to hospital in time. It was a moving story, and the reason he says she is “an internalised part of my being”.
Phila gave the final speech, thanking all the guests, and thanking his parents and parents-in-law for raising a beautiful and strong woman.
The speeches were interspersed with music, dancing, and laughter. The couple couldnt’ have asked for a more perfect wedding.
